Soliloquy

You live in the quiet space between my inhale and exhale.
That sacred stillness before release. You seep through me like meditation.
Slow, deliberate, filling my throat, expanding my chest.

There you are.

Hold.

Then I let you fall, like mist through my ribs… settling low in my stomach.
You keep rolling through me like thunder, down through my legs
until I’m rooted, barefoot, in the grass.
Grounded in you.
