I’m Nicole Marie Butler, a Florida‑based mixed media artist, poet, and children’s book author. I work primarily in oil pastel and acrylic, drawn to the quiet spaces in between, the hidden structures beneath human experience, imagination, and feeling.
My work isn’t about technical perfection. It’s about capturing the essence of a moment, whatever form it decides to take. Through color, water, depth, and playfulness, I follow intuition and movement, trusting each piece to unfold with its own mood and rhythm.
Alongside my visual work, I write poetry and create children’s books under the pen name NM Butler, crafting stories that invite curiosity, emotional awareness, and wonder.
